Nunca confíes en alguien que ante la pregunta de qué música escucha, no es capaz de enumerarte sus bandas favoritas, sino que te dice que escucha de todo. Ninguna persona de bien es capaz de escuchar y gustar de toda clase de música.

Never trust in someone who tells you that he or she likes all kinds of music. People who say something like that and who are absolutely unnable to mention their favourite bands are not good people. Nobody is able to listen and like all the music.

Consejo 8. Advice 8

Si en un recital, querés ver a la banda, andá a campo. Si querés escucharla, entonces andá a platea. (Este consejo es cortesía de Ignacio Crosta)

If in a concert, you want to see the band, then go to the standing area in front of the stage. If you want to listen to it, then go to the tiered seating (This advice is courtesy of Ignacio Crosta)

Consejo 6. Advice 6

Está muy bien visto hacer referencia a las bandas de rock por medio del uso de iniciales. Incluir en cualquier texto siglas como: FF, RHCP, QOTSA, NIN, RS, etc. no sólo sirve para reducir espacio, sino que también da muestras de que quien habla es un conocedor del mundo del rock.

It's well done to make reference to the rock bands by the use of capital letters. If you include, in any text, letters as: FF, RHCP, QOTSA, NIN, RS, etc., you are not just saving space, also you let the others know that you have a lot of knowledge of rock.

Consejo 4. Advice 4

Es sumamente útil descubrir que existen diferencias entre los sonidos y los roles que cumplen los instrumentos dentro de una banda. Y aunque parezca que tienen una forma similar, una guitarra y un bajo no son lo mismo. Sólo para comenzar, vamos a señalar que la guitarra tiene seis cuerdas y el bajo tiene cuatro.

It is very useful to find out that there are differences between the sound and the functions of the instruments in a band. And even when they have a similar shape, a guitar and a bass are not the same. Just to start lets say that a guitar has six strings while a bass has four.

Nunca pero nunca se debe ir a un recital con una remera de la banda que toca, ni aunque se trate de una remera vieja. Al show se puede ir con la remera de una banda amiga o de algún referente de los músicos que tocan. (consejo consensuado con mi querida amiga @ximealvarezOK)

Never ever you can go to a concert with a t-shirt of the band that plays, not even if it is an old one. You can wear a t-shirt of a friendly band or one about a musical reference of the band you like. (advice stablished after a talk with my dear friend @ximealvarezOK)
